In air purifier there is a varies type of filters inside it if we talk about basic filters so the basic filter is made of a material
like cotton or foam.

its look like air is not able to pass throughout this layer but when we apply
air with some pressure then this layer allows passing clean particles of air the
polluted air particles are not able to pass throughout this layer.
So the air is filtered and pollution is stick on the filter

There is basically 5 types of air purifier
(1)HEPA filter type
This is a most simple and most commonly used filter this is made up of fome, cotton
, and fiberglass there is very small holes In this filter true which only pure
air partials are able to pass true these holes and all impurities are stuck in
this filter layer.
After a long time, the filter gives an indication that the filter
is totally filled with impurities and then you need to change them or wash
them.
As it is the most basic type filter so it not affect much this a filter is recommended to use in an environment with low pollution if you use this
filter in high pollution area this filter doesn’t work.
(2)ozone generator and ionization
in this type of filter, the ozone gas and irons are produced by
filter this ozone and irons are stick with the pollution particles then this
pollution particles will also be ironized then these pollution particles are and
irons generated by a filter will stick with the wall of your house and the air is
clean.
But the ozone is active reacting molecule so ozone will react
with the other molecules in the air so this maybe creates problems for some peoples.
If you have any problem in your lungs then don’t use this filter use other filters in the list this filter will also create irritation in lungs at high usage so
recommend that don’t use this type of air purifier in your house its harm full
for your kids.
(3)Electrostatic filter
This filter same like ozone filter in this the filter has
charged irons inside it so when air pass
true this filter then this charge electrons will attract the pollutant
particles.

and all pollution is collected on the inner walls of the filter but after some
time plates need maintenance.
You need to wash the plates before you use the air filter but
if you use a cheap quality electrostatic filter then that will produce some
amount of ozone so you need to read the all thing about the filter before you
buy the filter.
(4)Activated carbon filter

The activated carbon is also used in a water purifier to make a water filter the
activated carbon is a very good choice but in air purifier its work on different
way.
In this, the activated carbon with some porous gases are used
so when air is passed true this filter the pollution particles are stuck with the
activated carbon so air that passes true is pure.
This filter will not produce any harmful gas and it's not needed
cleaning again and again so this is the best type of air filter.
(5)UV light filter
Ad we all know that the UV light can kill virus and micro
bacteria also so in this filter the UV light is used in the filter there is a The UV bulb is pleased in the filter.
When the air is passed true the filter then due to the UV
lamp all bacteria in air is killed this is a very fast way to purify the air
without any problem.
